In the last two years that this driver has spent with the Alfa Romeo team, he has not been able to show the outstanding results that everyone expected from him. In the first year, he managed to earn 14 points. Only 4 points in the second year and 1 in the third period.
Fred Vasseur, the current head of the Alfa Romeo team, has repeatedly tried to justify Antonio Giovinazzi in front of the Italian media, claiming that he was able to show outstanding results during the qualifying races. But, unfortunately, such good results could not help him with a few victory points that everyone was counting on.
